1. You must be able to volunteer at least 4 hours before or during the event.
2. After your application is accepted, you will need to read all important emails that follow and execute any action commands prior to the event.
3. Applicants must be 18 years or older
4. Local applicants are preferred but not required

There are three volunteer shifts; setup day on 11/3, morning shift on 11/4, and afternoon shift on 11/4. Should your application be accepted, we will provide a better estimate of your shift time.

Volunteers help with plenty of fun tasks, including, but not limited to, the following:

• Registration check-in
• Session scanning
• Directional/customer support
• Microphone running for breakouts
• General event setup

Applications are reviewed weekly, and we will begin to notify approved applicants starting in August. We will select and notify all volunteers on a rolling basis, with all candidates receiving notification no later than October 20th.

This is a volunteer opportunity. TechCrunch will not reimburse for any expenses, including travel incurred by volunteers. You will, however, gain invaluable experience by being a part of our amazing volunteer team.

In lieu of a formal orientation, there will be a video walkthrough of expectations and a thorough breakdown of your role + responsibilities through email. We will also provide on-site training, so it is imperative you arrive a few minutes early to your assigned shift.

A limited number of FREE lunches will be provided in the 12pm-1pm hour. First-come, first-served. There will also be food trucks with food available for purchase. Parking expenses are not covered, and we actively encourage rideshare.
