Chief Technology Officer, ClouderaAs chief technology officer, Ram Venkatesh oversees the long-term vision and technology strategy for the company, working closely with the engineering, product, and go-to-market functions. He joined Hortonworks in 2014, serving first as vice president of engineering and then as corporate vice president leading the team that delivered Cloudera Data Platform (CDP). Ram has more than 25 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, with a strong interest in data management, query processing, cloud platforms, and distributed systems. He has held senior technical roles at several leading enterprise software and cloud companies. Most recently, he was the founding CEO at S3Edge, a startup focused on enterprise RFID solutions for mission-critical applications.

She is frequently quoted by publications such as Bloomberg, CNBC, Dow Jones, MarketWatch, Reuters, The Associated Press, The Globe and Mail and The Wall Street Journal. Prior to founding Lopez Research, Maribel gained her expertise by working at Motorola, International Data Corp., Shiva Corporation, and Forrester Research.
Shirley Collie
Chief Health Analytics Actuary, Discovery HealthAs the head of the analytic intelligence cluster in Discovery Health, Shirley is responsible for all clinical claims analysis, provider contract measurement, quality measurement, forensic analysis and operational analysis. She brings to this role extensive analytic experience in health care, ranging from clinical claims reporting, alternative reimbursement contracts, construction of provider profiles and development of clinical classification systems and tools to meaningfully evaluate health care expenditure. She recently led a collaboration on behalf of Discovery with the South African Medical Research Council and the Sisonke research team to evaluate the real-world effectiveness of the Ad26.COV2.S COVID-19 vaccine. Shirley has a Bachelor of Science from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.
