Ashley Paston is a Partner at General Catalyst, a global investment and transformation company that partners with the world’s most ambitious founders to drive resilience and applied AI. Based in San Francisco, Ashley invests in the next generation of enterprise, resilience, and infrastructure companies. Before joining General Catalyst in 2025, Ashley was a Partner at Meritech Capital, where she invested in growth-stage assets investments such as Clay and Pigment. Earlier in her career, she was an investor at Bain Capital Ventures and a consultant in McKinsey & Company’s Strategy & Corporate Finance practice. Ashley holds a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
