Varun Jain

Varun Jain is a founding General Partner at SE Ventures, a $1.1B venture capital firm backed by Schneider Electric, where he leads investments in Physical AI and Industrial Intelligence. Over more than a decade in venture capital, Varun has backed companies from their earliest stages through major exits and multi-billion-dollar valuations, including Skild AI, Together AI, Cruise Automation [acquired by GM], Augury, AiDash [pending acquisition by Schneider Electric], ClearMotion, First Street [acquired by MSCI], Fabric8 Labs [pending acquisition by TDK], Spyce [acquired by Sweetgreen] and UnitX. Prior to SE Ventures, he led Qualcomm Ventures’ global early-stage investment practice. Varun has spent much of his career investing where AI meets the physical world. Today, he focuses on the shift from AI that predicts to AI that reasons and acts. Varun holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where he was a McCormick Scholar.
