Rohan Nayak

Rohan Nayak is the CEO and Co-founder of Pocket Entertainment, where he is pioneering the future of storytelling by reimagining it through the powerful collaboration of human creativity and AI. Inspired by his entrepreneurial instinct, Rohan, along with his friends Nishanth KS and Prateek Dixit, co-founded Pocket FM in 2018 to address a visible gap in audio entertainment. Rohan is the guiding force shaping the business aesthetics, strategies, growth, and expansion, resulting in the evolution of Pocket FM to Pocket Entertainment. Guided by his vision, Pocket Entertainment is redefining entertainment across audio, webcomics, and other forms of storytelling by transforming how stories are created, consumed, and monetized across the entire audio content/ storytelling value chain. Today, under his leadership, Pocket FM is disrupting the entertainment industry while bringing audio storytelling to the mainstream by pioneering a new category with audio series. Rohan is also steering Pocket Entertainment to democratise storytelling not just for India, but for the world—empowering storytellers to enhance their expression by blending AI-driven efficiencies to revolutionize how stories are created, distributed, and consumed at scale. Rohan graduated in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He kick-started his career as an investment banker at Credit Suisse. Once he realized his passion for product building, he moved to product management in the startup ecosystem, including Paytm. This journey eventually led him to co-found Pocket FM, which has now evolved into Pocket Entertainment.
