Manos Koukoumidis

A seasoned technology executive and founder, Manos is the CEO and Co-Founder of Oumi, a start up dedicated to enabling open AI and empowering organizations to build, own, and control their own AI models. Previously, Manos was the Google Cloud GenAI lead responsible for the team that became Gemini at Google, before it became Deepmind. With over a decade of leadership at the forefront of AI and machine learning, he has a distinguished track record of scaling high-impact AI initiatives across some of the world’s most influential technology companies, including integrity and assistant work on Facebook’s Portal and the development of Zo, Microsoft’s conversational AI platform widely regarded as a precursor to today’s modern chatbots. He is dedicated to building an open, collaborative AI ecosystem that empowers every organization to own and shape its AI future. Manos has a PhD from Princeton University where he focused on mobile-cloud intelligent systems co-design and previously studied at MIT.
