Ivan Poupyrev

Ivan Poupyrev is co-founder and CEO of Archetype AI, the Physical AI company building Newton, a physical world model that helps machines understand the physical world from sensor data. Before founding Archetype AI, Ivan led advanced technology work at Google, where his team developed Project Soli within ATAP. He also held senior research roles at Walt Disney Imagineering and Sony Corporate Research Labs in Tokyo, helping pioneer sensing and human-computer interaction technologies used in everyday consumer devices. His work has been recognized with a Cannes Lions Grand Prix and an Ars Electronica award, among other honors. Ivan founded Archetype AI with a mission to help humanity make sense of the real world.
