Elias Habbar-Baylac

Elias Habbar-Baylac leads Cisco’s strategy for more efficient, sustainable and resilient AI infrastructure globally. He works with energy and technology companies, startups, and investors to address the power and resource constraints shaping AI’s growth, with a focus on clean firm power, grid modernization, resource efficiency, and community impact. Previously, Elias built and co-led the Cisco Foundation’s $50 million Regenerative Future Fund, executing $25 million in early-stage venture investments across clean energy, carbon, and climate resilience. His experience combines technology strategy and venture investing with infrastructure finance and policy, including roles at British International Investment, the European Bank, United Nations, EQT, and Microsoft. He was named one of Global Corporate Venturing’s 2026 Rising Stars and is a Clean Energy Leadership Institute Fellow. He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and dual bachelor’s degrees, cum laude, from Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris.
