Chris Yu

Chris Yu is President and Co-founder of ALSO, a Palo Alto-based electric micromobility company spun out of Rivian. He leads the company with a focus on creating the world’s most capable and inspiring small electric vehicles. Prior to founding ALSO, Yu served as Vice President of Future Programs at Rivian, where he kicked off the stealth product and business development initiative that became ALSO. Before Rivian, he was the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Specialized Bicycle Components, developing deep expertise in electric micromobility, user-centric product development and global operations. At ALSO, Yu is applying the combination of deep, vertically integrated technology development with exciting, thoughtful design to extend the positive impact of electric mobility into smaller-than-car form factors worldwide.
