Beezer Clarkson

Beezer Clarkson (American) is a Managing Director at LGT Capital Partners in San Francisco, California, where she is a member of the venture capital / growth Investment Committee. She is responsible for origination, due diligence, execution and monitoring U.S. and European venture and growth investments. Prior to joining LGT Capital Partners in 2026, Beezer spent 14 years at Sapphire Partners, where she built and led the firm’s primary venture fund investment strategy, investing in and supporting emerging and established venture managers globally. She began her career at Morgan Stanley in 1994 in the firm’s Global Infrastructure Group. Beezer is the co-founder of OpenLP, an industry platform advancing transparency around the LP perspective in venture capital. She also co-hosts the Origins podcast, featuring conversations with leading GP and LP investors. Among the first LPs ever elected to serve on the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) Board of Directors, Beezer is consistently sought after for her thought leadership and has been recognized on the Forbes 50 Over 50 Investors list, named a Wall Street Journal Woman to Watch and honored as a Venture Capital Journal Woman of Influence. Beezer holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Wesleyan University, where she previously served as a Trustee and currently advises the Investment Committee of the university’s endowment.
