Aaron Borger

CEO, Orbital Robotics

Aaron Borger is the founder and CEO of Orbital Robotics, a company building AI powered spacecraft with robotic arms that will form the backbone of the next generation of on-orbit logistics and infrastructure. These robots will enable large scale structures such as space stations and datacenters as well as advanced refueling, debris removal, and servicing capabilities. Aaron began his journey as an undergraduate, leading a student team that launched two custom robotic arms on a NASA sub-orbital rocket that used AI to throw and catch a ball in space. Later he went on to Blue Origin where he was the lead software engineer for the BE-7 lunar lander engine and developed AI/ML algorithms to predict the health of rocket engine components. Aaron left Blue Origin to pursue a PhD in aerospace dynamics and controls focused on servicing satellites with AI controlled robots under Dr. Ou Ma, a key contributor to the Canadarm. Today, Aaron leads Orbital Robotics in expanding humanity’s reach into the solar system through intelligent space robots.
